President and founder Daniel Bernstein was one of the producers of the multiple Emmy-winning HBO film "A Lesson Before Dying" starring Don Cheadle, and wrote, directed and produced the feature film "Head Games" starring Mekhi Phifer. For many years, he was an executive with legendary publicist Warren Cowan. Among the many artists and companies he has done publicity for are Paul Newman, Zac Efron, The Grammy Awards, Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, The Los Angeles Dodgers, Starkey Laboratories, Natural Balance Pet Foods and Dick Van Patten; as well as feature films "Cars," "Brokeback Mountain," "The Aviator," Atonement," and "Pride and Prejudice." Bernstein has done extensive PR for musicians, non-profit groups and corporations, and also serves as manager to several actors. He received a BA from The University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit, and practiced law for several years before moving to California in 1996.
Senior VP of Development Jordan Kizwani started his career in the entertainment industry working for the late Warren Cowan at Warren Cowan & Associates. Shortly after leaving the firm, he joined and helped Daniel Bernstein launch Bernstein Entertainment in the summer of 2008. In the past six years, Jordan has worked with a variety of celebrities, non-profit groups and corporations including Grammy-Award Winner Patrick Williams, Larry King's Cardiac Foundation, American Youth Soccer Association, The Rose Parade, Natural Balance Pet Foods, and the LA Dodgers. His responsibilities included the development of branding and PR strategies, as well as integrating film and TV projects. He received his BA from the University of California, Los Angeles in Sociology.
Account Executive Bill McCoy has been working in and around the world of Hollywood Entertainment for the last 17 years, beginning at 19 years old as an intern for Warren Cowan at the Legendary Rogers & Cowan. Focusing on the world of music, Bill has done PR for Little Dog Records as their VP of Public Relations, helped start Celebrity Babylon Magazine as the Music Editor and before joining Bernstein Entertainment, helmed his own PR firm, MME Public Relations. For the last 10 years, Bill has been the Vice President of the Jim Murray Memorial Foundation, a not-for profit raising money for college scholarships for journalism students.
